Does anyone know where I can get a Sofa Swing that clips on and off the swingset?

I have a swing set that my dad made it looks like an "A" then a beam on top and then another "A". It holds 3 swings that come off and on like any normal swing set. My family and I thought it would be a good idea if we could get one of those Sofa Swings. You know the one that a lot of people have on their patio in front of their house. I was wondering if their was one like a swing with clips so that we could put it on our swing set and clip it on. Please help

How to repair a canvas/metal canopy swing?

Anyone have any idea how to fix a canvas/metal lawn swing? It’s old, someone gave it to me about 5 years ago because she no longer wanted it (the canopy part was ripped off and lost during a heavy windstorm)…. I enjoyed it for awhile, but last year, the canvas (I think it’s canvas?) start to rip on the seat, and has now ripped completely.

I’m in between – fix it, or toss it?

I want to fix it, and would HATE to toss it…

Any ideas how to fix it? Or, use the swing frame, to put a new material on it….. What sort of material would work? Any advice?

Me and my boyfriend are celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Were 16. He’s coming over tomorrow…but I don’t know what to do! I want something unique. I have a very nice fire pit in my backyard with a swing, a nice patio set, a beautiful big bedroom… but i dont know what to do. i dont know what to make us to eat either. this is the first time this has happened! i usually always know what to do. any ideas on gifts!?

What are the laws regarding lease aggreements between apartments and tenants?

My apartment complex has recently decided to change over into condos and sell. Since they are getting ready to sell to the public they have started making alot of changes to make the place more desirable, although they have been kind enough to let me stay until the end of my lease before they kick me out.
I received a letter on my door, as did all the other tenants, that we are to clear off our patios and can have nothing on them but a doormat. My patio is not an eyesore and is very neat. I have a swing and a couple of plants on it, which I have been told will be removed if I don’t remove them. There is nothing in our lease aggreement that we cannot have things on our patio, only that it is not to be used as a storage area.
Is there anything I can do to fight this?? Thank you

So, i was watching "A Walk to Remember" the other night and I was wondering: is the patio set they use for that movie the same as the one from "The Notebook" for Noah’s home??? Would a gravel path and patio look nice?

I know from reading online that there are not many people fond of gravel paths and patios, however, my husband and I are looking for a cost effective project that we can do ourselves.

We are planning to add rock bordered flower beds to the front of our house and would like to parallel the bed with a gravel path (also bordered with rock) leading to a small circular gravel patio. We would like to place a few planters and some furniture (maybe just a fire pit and some chairs or a swing) on the patio. It would not be used everyday (and only May through September), but I’m dying to have a place where I can sit outside with friends on occasion.

My concerns are, aside from functionality, do gravel patios look nice? Are they easy to maintain? We live in an area with A LOT of rain and snow, could that pose a problem?

Right now we only have grass and were planning to pull up the sod, lay a weed cloth, and edge it so that the gravel would be less likely to "roam". We don’t want to use concrete in case we change our minds a few years down the road!
